Household Give Away
for Newly Arrived Internationals

We need things dropped off as early in the week as possible in order to get them ready for the give away. Hours are Sunday, Aug. 12, 1 to 5 pm, Tuesday Aug. 14, 2-5 pm and Wednesday, Aug. 15, 1-6 pm, Thursday Aug. 16, 1 to 6 pm and Friday Aug. 17, 1-4 pm If you need a different time to bring stuff call us at 678-203-6914
We need a team of people for Saturday, August 18, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. These volunteers will help us with final set-up, the giveaway, and helping students get their stuff home by serving as drivers.
We could also use a fresh team of volunteers who would help us clean-up, put away tables and set up the International Friends Center from 11 am to 1 pm.
International students bring only a couple suitcases and need many things to set up an apartment for life in the U.S.
Things you could donate include:
Sheets, towels, pillow cases, blankets, pillows
Dishes, tableware, serving spoons
Small trash cans
Mixers, cooking accessories
TV's (Flat screens, no box TV's)
