 Prayer Requests

  • Our hearts are sad that we will be saying good-bye to so many of our international friends as they return home between May and July. Pray for good partings, for God to be our comfort, and for the spiritual work God has started to continue in their lives.
  • This coming week starting on April 23 will be our last week for English Conversation Groups, Easy English Classes and Women of the World (WOW). Pray for all the leaders to finish well and say goodbye to students as they depart for the summer after finals which end on May 11.
  • The President of InterFACE Ministries, Bob Culver will be resigning from his role as President as soon as a replacement is found. Bob had a serious heart attack a couple months ago and is aging. He will continue as a staff person. Please pray for the national board of directors as they search for a new President for InterFACE Ministries. We had always assumed that Bill Perry, our chief of staff would take this role when the time came, but Bill passed away in a car accident several months ago leaving no clear obvious choice.
  • Our Kids Bible Club contnues to grow with 1-3 new kids coming each week. Pray for the Bible stories to be faithfully communicated and understood. Pray for the activity of the Holy Spirit to be present on Wednesday nights. Pray for parwents to come to the Parents Bible Study concurrent with the Kids Bible Club.
  • On April 8 we will have a baptism for an 11 year old Chinese girl. Pray for the witness of her baptism to other kids and parents. Pray for her to grow in Christ.
  • On Friday, March 9 we will have a Dinner & a Movie Night, showing the film "Do You Believe?" after a pizza dinner. The movie is a great story of how 12 different people find Jesus - a nurse, a paramedic, a vteran, a homeless unwed mother, a thief, an ex-convict, a vteran and a distraught woman. We will show it with English subtitles. It has been well received in the past. Pray for this event to draw a crowd to help promote our Friday night Bible studies hed at this time and place regularly UPDATE: We had about 2/3 full house, many more than usual, and they seemed to enjoy the movie. Pray for new folks to come to Bible studies on Fridays
  • Praise the Lord for 20 international kids regularly coming to our Kids Bible Club on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8 pm. we have a concurrent parents Bible study in Craig's office down the hall. Pray for kids and parents to learn about Jesus.
  • Women of the World (WOW) meets on Wednesdays 9 am to Noon - This semester about 16-18 women from 16 nations are coming. Pray for relationships to develop through this group
